Scrabble Tile Spring Wooden Sign

HI everyone! Are you ready for some spring weather? We are having lots of rain and since I can't get outside too much, I thought I would put together a spring craft for inside.
For this project, I used a scrap piece of wood I had in my stash and dry-painted it it with turquoise paint. You can use a canvas or even buy wood pieces at the craft store. I also had these scrabble letters from my scrapbooking supplies and I spelled out some spring-time words.
Using a ruler and a pencil, I drew lines across the board. I made them 3 inches apart so the letter tiles would have enough separation between them.
I ran a line of glue just below the pencil line and started placing my tiles on. I centered them on the board. Since some of my words were shorter than others, I added some blank pieces at the beginning and end of the words.
I found some pretty and bright flowers in my scrapbook supplies and picked out what I thought would look best with the turquoise and letters. I ended up using the pink and yellow. I added the flowers to the blank tiles I had added and also a couple of others at the top.
Here is the finished project! I love how pretty it looks!
I added the sign to my mantle so I can be reminded that spring is just around the corner!
