With a few simple grocery store ingredients and tap water, you can enjoy a fragrant-smelling holiday home every night of the week!

Filling your home with amazing seasonal fragrance is a part of making cozy during the holidays. Yes, you can burn fragrant candles, but even easier and less expensive is to get some stovetop holiday simmer going!

This will definitely get you in the holiday mood!

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups of water
  • orange slices
  • cranberries
  • whole cloves
  • cinnamon sticks
  • rosemary sprig (optional)

Directions:

Place all the ingredients into a saucepan on your stovetop and set to simmer on low. When it gets warm, it will start wafting the most cozy, sweet holiday fragrance.

Add water as needed, so it doesn't go dry.

Enjoy it every night!

It will definitely get you in the holiday mood!

When you're done enjoying the wonderful fragrance, pop it in the frig to use it again. After a couple uses, you'll probably want to whip up a fresh batch.

You can also experiment with different fresh ingredients. Lemon slices would be a fresh option in the Spring, with some fresh cut herb springs.

Such an easy way to add fresh fragrance to your home!

And a great way to get in the mood to decorate for Christmas!

My Dad was a realtor and every time he would do this during an open house, wonderful to get rid of home odors.

I also have a small slow cooker I use; it works great, you can start it out on high and then turn it down to low.

Same and I use it every year for Thanksgiving and Christmas. We have to use artificial trees because the dogs try to eat the real ones..yeah, weird dogs!!

Many candles have the evergreen scent.

Love the smells this time of year!!
