Make the most charming textured word art to bring the colours of Fall inside in just a few easy steps.

It is not technically Fall yet but are you getting the bug to bring out your Fall decor? If so, here is a fun project to add some texture and Fall colour to your decor.

To make the word art, grab some Fall coloured paint, a reclaimed frame, chunky Autumn coloured yarn and some jewelry wire.
To get the frame ready, dab on a mix of orange, red, yellow and brown paint. Try not to mix the colours too much so that you can see some them all when it does.

I used the word "fall" for my art and bent it out of the wire.

You don't need to be too careful about how smooth the wire is as the chunky yarn covers up any bends and loops.

Use a couple of nails or staples to attach the wire to each side of your frame.
Once the wire in attached, start covering it with the chunky yarn.  I cut four lengths of yard and tied the group to one end. Then, start wrapping the wires with all four at the same time.  It made wrapping the wire a lot faster and easier.
Once you have covered the entire word, tie a knot and tuck the ends behind the frame.  You can also add a dab of hot glue to keep them in place.
I love the texture the chunky yarn gives to the word and all of the pretty colours it brings to the art and the room.
