I wanted a new Fall wreath for the front door and I had an old straw wreath form laying around so I grabbed a roll of chevron burlap, a few Fall floral picks, a floral candle ring and a sparkly pumpkin all from Walmart. Cheap and easy, that's my kind of crafts! I spent about $12 all together.
I keep thinking I want to repaint our front door to a lovely shade of green, but then this happens....my Fall wreath matches so perfectly!
Here are all my goodies. If you happen to have some Fallish floral items already, you could just gather up what you have on hand and make a wreath of your own, or be like me and go shopping for new stuff! LOL!
I cut a piece of my chevron burlap about 14" long and then tied it with a piece of twine. This was my starting point.
HINT: I always lay out what I want my project to look like before I actually glue it all down.
When I had it the way I wanted, I used my hot glue gun on the low setting and started gluing it all down, tweaking it here and there as I went.
Here it is on our front door waiting to greet whomever may come upon our porch. Love it!
