Fencing to Valentine's Fence Wreath

Adventures In Junking
by Adventures In Junking
You know that lightweight wire garden edge fencing sitting stuffed in the corner of garages or a shelf in the garden shed? the thin plastic coated wire couldn't go in the recycling because of its hard to separate pretty much valueless mutlimatierial? The stuff that never actually kept the dogs or children out of your flower bed?
Well pull it out and dust it off and turn in into a pretty Valentines wreath that will look charming on your front door, garden fence or barn door.
Simply separate two panels and lay them at a 45 degree angle (one vertical, one horizontal) to form a perfect heart (2 actually. There is a smaller one in the inside. Then figure out some method of holding them together; thin wire or glue would do the job but might be visible and detract from the clear delicate lines. I used very tiny pieces of white medical tape (the kind generally found in first aid kits.
We are particularly heartful around Valentine's, these hearts would look good all year round. See my blog (adventuresinjunking.wordpress.com) for lots more ideas for turning junk into Valentine's decorations
