Modern Birch Wreath

Who doesn't love a great wreath? I am always coming up with new and different ways to dress up my front door and recently came up with this wreath idea. Its a wreath but it has a modern twist to it!
This is the simplest wreath you just may ever make!

The supplies are as follows:
- a piece of wood (for this wreath I used birch because I am lucky to have a birch tree we recently trimmed. If you want birch but don't have a birch tree local craft stores even now carry pieces of birch branches I have seen. Otherwise you can even order birch branches online, isn't the internet wonderful!?)
- 1-2 faux flowers
-some filler (I used bits of leaves I pulled from other fake flower groupings I had and I used dried eucalyptus leaves. It did state on the packaging that dried eucalyptus may cause staining so use at your own risk. If I make another wreath I will probably opt for fake eucalyptus.)
-a little bit of hot glue
- a ribbon

That's it! It truly is one of the simplest wreaths I have ever made and it is so pretty on my door. It can really be used for any season as well. The red one I made in the video looks great for fall but I am wanting to play some more for the winter season and use some pine filler to make a more winter-ish wreath.
