This is the cutest little rustic upcycle ever using 6 hangers and some burlap! Makes a great small tree for a couple or a mini tree for a second room.

IMPORTANT: There are LOTS OF PHOTOS TO THIS PROJECT. ***CLICK HERE TO VIEW THEM ALL!*** SUPPLIES ⚫6 Plastic White Hangers ⚫Burlap, tight weave. For 6″ strips you will need at least 20′. For 5″ strips you will need more etc. ⚫White Chenille Stems or Twistie ties ⚫50-60 String LED Lights (I link to exact ones on my actual post) You want LED lights that last a long time and don’t get hot. ⚫1″ Jingle Bells ⚫3D Star Topper Pattern (Free on my site)

Lay hangers together and tie with pieces of chenille stems as shown.

Do this with three sets of plastic hangers.

You will then tie the sides together to form the tree frame.

All the sides tied together. Do this top and bottom.

You can use the chenille stems already on the hangers or add more for tying.

Stand your hangers to make the tree frame and tie it together.

Iron your burlap and cut as shown, only on one side.

You will then wrap your lights around your tree, weaving them inside and out using chenille stems to hold into place. Do this BEFORE you begin to add the burlap. MORE PHOTOS ARE ON OUR SITE. Begin gluing your burlap around your frame. You will cut each side piece separate and wrap it around for gluing. After you have done one row move onto the next, overlapping.

The pieces will get smaller as you go up. One last piece will wrap around the top completely. You will have to curve it in a way that it makes the point. Make sure you aim the back of it towards the actual back of your tree. Again, VIEW LOTS MORE PHOTOS ON OUR SITE as we could only put 13 here.

You can now glue on your bells. Do this while the tree is on its side as the glue will run. Also, metal is a heat conductor so use something to help hold the bells as they will be hot from the hot glue as you hold them!

Add your 3D star, pattern below!

The chenille stems look just like pipe cleaners. Is that what they are I've never heard of chenille stems before only on this site I've noticed it.
