Christmas Decorations With Cardboard Boxes

4 Materials

Today I am going to share some DIY Christmas decorations made with boxes. Last year was our first Christmas in this home and I grew tired of spending money on various Christmas decorations on top of furnishing the new place. By the time I got to the urns on our front porch I decided to spend as little as possible. I came up with my $2.68 Christmas Decorations! This year I decided to up my game by dressing up my boxes a little more.

I bought my cardboard boxes and taped them into shape.

I wrapped the box with red and white candy cane striped ribbon.

I used a couple of pieces of faux white pine to the top of my box.

After the white pine, I tied a bow with the remainder of the ribbon and added a couple of shatterproof Christmas ornaments.

I popped my box into my urns, tucked a little greenery around the bottom and my box is ready to greet guests. To keep it from blowing away I put a small bag of sand in the box and shook it down to the corner.

That is great idea, make a nice way to decorate the front, but porch pirates would steal it here!! Thinking we left a present out for someone to pickup!!!
