Christmas Stocking Holder From an Old Coat Rack

No Mantel? No problem? We've got a way to show those Christmas stocking off that's unique, easy to store and all together adorable!
We started with this old ugly coat rack.
Candy Cane Christmas Stocking Holder
Painted the whole thing Simply White by Benjamin Moore.
Used painter's tape around the rack in a spiral to make the red stripes of the candy cane.
Coat Rack Turned Christmas stocking
Then we spray painted it red and removed the painters tape.
We used antique porcelain knobs to hang the stockings in a spiral pattern as well.

What @Miriam I and @Lori said! Seriously, people in small NY apartments need great ideas like this to hang our stockings and Christmas decorations! I need to find an old coat rack stat :)
