This beautiful Christmas art was inspired by my glowing moon DIY. I am so glad you guys asked for a Christmas tree version because, I am sso in love with how it turned out. To change things up a bit I decided to recycle an old pallet for this DIY because, we live on farmland and have a pile high of those pallets. I figured it’d probably be a good idea to put them to some good use. Hopefully that wasn’t a mistake!! I envisioned somewhat of a rustic feel for this project and hopefully it shows just enough! (video at the bottom)

I stained my wood with coffee and diluted black paint.. YES your read that right!! I used instant coffee. I was going for a rustic look and I wanted my wood to look like it set out in the rain for a few years. Geuss what the coffee trick worked!! icon YEY!!

I also did my pallet panels offset on the edges. You can totally do yours perfectly straight I figured since this was a rustic piece of decor it would match perfect. I used regular acrylic white paint to paint on my Christmas tree and for my star I did some string art but, instead of string I used super flexible gold wire. Then to finish it off I drilled holes and poked lights through them!!
This cute little princess was such a good model!! icon
