While shopping at Home Depot I came across these pretty hanging baskets. But for $30 a pop I figured ‘hey I can do that and for a lot cheaper!‘ They were in a pretty red pot with a cheap plastic hook. I already have beautiful hanging baskets so I just bought some greens. I saved my branches from the bottom of our real tree which was a Noble Fir. Home Depot had bundles of White Pine & Incesnse Cedar. I think they were like $6.99/per bundle and we got our military discount of 10% off. So spent about $12.
Inspiration basket
Once I got home I got my branches all laid out and set up my pots on the back of a chair so they could hang easily as I stuffed.

Baskets ready for stuffing
Here they are all stuffed with greens
As I looked around my porch I saw a tub full of dead flowers and spider webs and a birch box that gave me a few more inspiration pieces to use with my left over greens!
so I got busy and stuffed some more!
so much better!
A lil basket for my coffee table
Now that the greenery was done I hit up Michaels for some filler & accent pieces! Also went to Dollar Tree for the red bows used on the baskets. I maybe spent around $40 and decorated my whole porch! It’s so inviting and smells fabulous!🌲
Gold pinecones for the win!
All finished!
The lil “welcome” arch piece came off an old dead planter from Walmart that was about to hit the trash! The fake poinsettias and all the filler was from Michael’s craft store. I’ll throw all the greenery away after the holidays but will have all the pieces to repeat for next year!❤️🎄

I love poinsettias and your porch is very welcoming and lovely! I just finished an almost 5' cone tree for outside with them and pinecones and snowflakes!
