Lori" this may give you some ideas:

You'll need to buy a diamond edged bit for glass the diameter you need. You'll need to work slow and keep glass cool. Some people use running water to help with this. You should practice with not so valuable glass first, but there are no guarantees it won't break. Good luck, I hope it works out for you.
You will need a diamond bit and water to keep things cool while you drill.
You would need a carbide tipped drill bit

Carbide-tipped drill bits are most commonly used for non-tempered glass, ceramics and tiles. The tip is a tiny spade-shaped point made of super-hard tungsten carbide, which is extremely durable and can withstand the friction of drilling into glass. Pour a little oil or water on the area that you are drilling. Water is the most common coolant used on drill bits. You will need to use more coolant if you are drilling a harder surface. The coolant will keep the drill bit or saw and glass lubricated and cool.
Make an oil or glass dam with putty. Make a circle of putty around the area you want to drill and fill with oil or water. Drill THRU the water or oil to keep the bit lubricated and cooled.
You have to have a diamond bit and still no guarantee
You need a drill bit for glass and then use it while dripping water on the area that is being drilled.
Use a Dremel with diamond bit. Check YouTube for how to videos.
This video shows you how to do it with glue as opposed to drilling. It might be another option for you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HrRPzAycJC0

Hi Lori, if you're worried about drilling into the crystals you can make wire cages for them instead. Here's a tutorial that will show you how - https://acraftymix.com/blog/repurposed-jelly-mold-wind-chime/
You could always stick instead of drill, or bind with silver wire and make a loop!
This post can help you. Good luck!
