White plastic bucket label?
I have a craft project for plastic buckets I want to try. I got the food label off with a hair dryer, and sticky residue off with goo gone. HOWEVER I have black print that is a warning label that will not come off. Any ideas????

Spray paint the bucket (or that spot) with white spray paint made for plastic.
Hi Toni, I agree with Chloe, spray paint the bucket white, over the black print.
Sometimes the black print can be removed with alcohol. Start with rubbing alcohol then if you have it try denatured alcohol.
Hello I might suggest lighter fluid and a magic eraser.
Hi Toni. I was going to recommend WD-40. That's what car dealers use to remove glue and price /info papers from the car windows. I read that you already tried it though. So, as a last resort, I would try the paint. Good luck Toni. I hope you are safe and well.
HI THERE,
If it won't come off, don't worry, Paint it out or cover it with tape or bind the pot with tape as part of the decoration, or put a sticky something over the top etc. Good luck!
Another thought if you don't want to paint would be White Out, sold in office supplies, this would also depend on the size of the label. It is the stuff used to cover up on paper.
Acetone or nail polished remover.
Acetone definitely!! If that doesn't totally work, use nail polish remover and a polymer eraser while the nail polish remover is wet. Here is my post that may help you:

Then after you remove the black, if you were thinking about painting, use a plastic spray paint. Good luck.
I know this post isn't your exact situation but it may work applied to yours.
Have you tried cleaning it with alcohol?
Try sanding it off
Use Acetone, the kind you purchase in the hardware store

Alcohol may work
Hello there,
Stick a White Label over it or paint over the label with Stain Cover or maybe use Copydex correction fluid.
Hi Toni, you can lightly scrape the black ink off with a sharp knife, you should not have to scrape too hard, try a bit of alcohol on any leftover spots of ink.
