DIY Bow Maker

Years ago I saw a wooden bow maker that I thought was awesome. I haven't been able to find it for sale since so made my own. It works wonders, is easy to make and can be made with a scrap piece of wood and an inexpensive wooden dowel so the total cost is less than $1.00 but it will streamline the bow-making process and you'll look like a pro!
I started with a scrap piece of wood, a 2x4 and cut it down to 17 inches long.
I found the center of the wood (8.5 inches) and staggered within 1/4 inch of each other two 3/8 inch holes being careful NOT to drill the entire way through the wood.
Once I had both of my holes I add two 3/8 inch wooden dowels approximately 4 inches in length each. These stayed in for me but I may add some wood glue just to be sure they stay in place.
Once everything was together I started at the center and used a Sharpie to mark 8 inches out on each side in 1 inch increments. To see more details plus the bow making tutorial please visit my blog post - link below.
