Back by popular demand, here is a tutorial on how to tie a Christmas bow with wire ribbon when the pattern is not on both sides.

Let's get started with this Christmas tree bow topper DIY.

Folding the ribon over itself

1. Fold

Fold your ribbon over itself and pinch the center.

Twisting the ribbon

2. Twist

Twist your ribbon so the pattern side is facing down.

Flipping the ribbon over

3. Flip

Flip the ribbon over itself back to the center to make another loop.

Pinching and twisting

4. Pinch

Pinch and twist so your pattern is facing down, folding the ribbon back to center.

How to tie a Christmas bow

This is what your bow should look like from the side.

Securing the ribbon with a pipe cleaner

5. Secure with a pipe cleaner

Wrap a pipe cleaner around the middle of the bow and twist the two sides together securing the loops in place.

6. Make loops

Make a loop with the tail of the ribbon and feed the pipe cleaner through the loop.

7. Twist the pipe cleaner

At the back of the bow, twist the pipe cleaner together to secure the middle loop.

Fluffing the loops

8. Fluff

Fluff the loops and then the bow is ready to place on your Christmas tree!
