It all started with lace round and bowl.I found this great product called fabric stiffener{Mod Podge Stiffy} from the craft store.
Take your fabric or lace round and soak in mod podge stiffy. Press on a bowl upside down, place on plasic wrap to let dry.Walk away and maybe do chores in or around your house. It takes between 1 to 2 hours depending on the thickness. For faster result it can be placed outside on a warm day.
I found that it peels off best from a plastic bowl. You can also wrap your bowl with plastic wrap for easy removal, this keeps the shape better.
This project so easy and cute and can be used on larger pieces .It makes a small statement on a vanity, coffee table, or shelf.

Have a question about this project?
I have an old embroidery sampler that was done by my aunt as a young girl, over 100 years ago. I have been trying to find a way of preserving it as it hasn't been taken care of and is actually falling apart by now. I'd like to preserve whatever is left of it - would this method work or would it damage the piece more?
