I like this fence and I wanted to do something different with it so this what I came up.

Here is a list of supplies you'll need for this project:

Fence (purchased at Dollar Tree)

Scissors

Hot glue gun

Sticks

Piece of scrap wood (6x6)

Black spray paint

White paint

I removed the stakes off the fence I used my scissors

the I cut them apart in the 4 rounded pattern with again my scissors ✂️

I hooked the 2 pieces that have hardware on them to look like this

I then used my wood for a base it’s 6x6

The other 2 pieces of fence I used lots of hot glue and glued them inside and out so they where together. Try to do this step neat and smooth.

I did make sure my 6x6 board was inside and you can glue that in

See how nice and clean

Once it is all together I took outside

Sprayed it black to cover glue

You could leave black if you wanted

But for mine I wanted aged so I took white paint and dry brush it all over it..

I turned it every which way to cover all sides and even bottom

Then the fun part I filled with some succulent and flowers I had here at the house and added my candle it was a bit short so I even put a gold candle stick in it

What do you think? This is the hinged side

I think it turned out pretty amazing 😉 and for $1 dollar you cannot beat it!! Can use it all spring and summer thinking it will even be cool for Halloween with some cob webs over it 🤣 I love decorating see more at Gilbert Marketplace

This is absolutely beautiful!!! I have often seen the fence in the dollar tree and wanted to use it for something and now i really think that i can make a couple of these for my wicker set on the end tables. Good job, and so easy! Thank you!

If the fencing is plastic, wouldn't it be a safety hazard to have a lit candle inside the 4 walls of fencing?

You mentioned something about hardware but I'm not sure what kind of hardware you use and I don't see it in your supplies list. Can you please let me know and thank you. By the way I'm loving this so much. So pretty can't wait to make it.
