My little one loves to explore the jungles of our backyard and use her "lookers" to find animals and treasures. She has store bought binoculars but what better way to have craft time than to make something that she would love to play with. Here's how we made binoculars from a paper towel roll.

We cut the paper towel holder in half (roughly), we are still working on our cutting abilities šŸ˜ and then we painted the two pieces black inside and out.
We then glued the 2 pieces together but it wasn't really strong enough to withstand toddler energy so we improvised and used clear packing tape to keep it together. That worked well!
Then we decorated with left over jewels and foam letters.
If you're completing this with a toddler, try to let it dry. Lol šŸ˜† and then off to explore with our new lookers!
An example of the awesome creatures that we find here in Florida when we explore. šŸ˜ƒ
We didn't get to let ours completely dry but she loves using them. ā¤ļø

What a fun little craft to do with kids! I know what I'll be doing with the nephews :)
