Springtime Cloche

I love cloches especially when you can decorate them. This is my take on decorating the outside of a cloche.

First, you will need a cliche. I found these at the dollar tree for $1.25 a piece.

I am sure you can do this makeover on any plastic cloche.

I picked up a few small faux succulents.

Make sure you decorate with something that fits inside the cloche. Very important step.

I used double sided tape adhesive. Then I will add these beautiful bags of stone chips in silver. They also carry gold.

you will need a pair of scissors for the over hang.

I took the tape and went around the base. Pull off the protective strip and then cut the overage.

Note: I tried Modge Podge first. It was a huge flop. I just want you to be aware so you don’t make my mistake.

Now you can take the chips and press them onto the sticky tape. Follow around the base and make sure to put pressure on it so it sticks.

It really does stick really well.

The finished product after I added the succulent to the inside.

They look all pretty on the the railing outdoors.

They would look great on a tray or even on shelves.

I scattered mine on my antique hutch.
