Verde Gris Topsy Turvey Planters

Another fun project using Dollar Store pots and paint!
I started out with these Dollar Store planters, adding a coat of Sage paint.
I've found these paints, along with a finishing spray clear coat, hold up pretty well outside!
Once the sage paint dried I dry-brushed the sky blue paint around the pots.
Again, once the previous coat was dry, I dry-brushed again with the peridot pearl. When completely dry I sprayed the painted surfaces with an aerosol clear coat.
I enlarged the center drain hole a bit to work the pots over a small shepherd's hook and filled with annuals. I really enjoy the finished project!

@Shelli Kult I have seen this project with clay pots and had it bookmarked to do. I didn't even think of using the post from the dollar store. This is brilliant and beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
