DIY Confetti Wall Art

This week I needed to make a craft that involved epoxy. I’ve never used epoxy before but have been eager to try it, so I was excited about try it. I had a completely different project in mind and had it started, but without naming names, one of my children ruined it… it happens and I had no choice, but to start over. This diy confetti wall art might have turned out better than the first project, so I’m not complaining.
The glass I used was the door to a shadow box. I removed the screws and cleaned both sides of the glass. You can use a picture frame with the glass (just be sure the glass is glued to the frame) or a window frame.
 Add a layer of Mod Podge to the glass.
Start adding your confetti. Spread it out on the glass and lightly press down.
Wait until the Mod Podge completely dries. Prepare the epoxy according to the directions on the package. I used the Gorilla epoxy and it was super easy. You just mix the two equal parts together and use within 5 minutes. Once my epoxy was mixed, I poured it over the confetti on my glass.
Honestly, I thought I would have a lot more epoxy than I did, but I used a popsicle stick to spread it out even over the entire piece of glass.
It doesn’t take long for this epoxy to set, but I left mine alone for a couple hours. When it’s completely dry, you should have a beautiful and fun new piece of art for your home or to give as a gift.

    I love this idea. I would like to do something for hanging outdoors. Is the gorilla epoxy water resistant?

    It's so fun looking. It would really brighten up an area. I think it would be pretty hanging in a window, like whimsical stained glass. You did good! :)

    OR you could back paint it and add magnetic paint would make a awesome go to message board I love this idea, and me I always find a interesting way to do a bit more {I think adding the solid background color would make it pop even more I love this!}
