DIY Sign

3 Materials
I have an affinity for metal letters and when Mister seemed interested in them I jumped at the chance to do something with them.
My next purchase was some wood and trim from my local home improvement store. I cut three lengths of wood and stained them. I secured the pieces together on the back side using mending plates.
I cut small pieces of wood to be used as cleats on the wood. Next, I drilled small holes in the letters and secured them to the cleats with nails. The whole piece was given a "frame" using the flat trim molding, stained in a weathered gray. These pieces were secured with a brad nailer.
