A Neglected Wrought Iron Bench Takes a Seat at the Dining Room Table
I do have a couple prospective benches that I can use at the dining table but this one has a soft seat, so I recovered the seat with some checked material and a strip of stenciled burlap. No matter how many things I redo I am always amazed at the outcome, not only my redos but also the redos of my friends here at Hometalk!
This old girl has the curves and good bones, just needs some new clothes...
Tired and sunbleached plaid material.
Now she's ready to sit around the table
I just dry brushed this "Keywest" color on and let some of the black see thru.
