From Unused Space to THIS!

For 17 years we looked at this and finally decided to make the space something we could enjoy.
For 17 years we looked at this!
It took a weekend to take it down. My Son, Troy, got a new sledgehammer and we put him to work!
First, the tear down!
The bricks came down and were recycled. The next job was trying to figure out what to do with the concrete pad.
Down to the rental store for a one day jackhammer rental. Thank heavens I have a wonderful husband that had a total vision for the project and a Son that loves to help!
Hard work, every "brick" had to be lifted and set to the side.
We had a hosta garden that needed to be moved and divided. A few yards of dirt and rock got delivered and we were planting. The concrete pad was totally jack hammered up and replaced with concrete aggregate.
It is now a space that we love to look at and be in!
