We put together a small area in our yard for the pups to use the bathroom using some fake grass and rocks!
In a yard full of rocks and mulch, it's hard for pups to go potty. So I decided to put together an area in the yard designated for just this using fake grass and some rocks. Here's how: We had this patch just the fake grass and hydrant by the pond. Was a bit of an eyesore. The pond is getting a make over so I decided move it down by my garden shed away from the pond and kinda out of site.
Here are the supervisors. They are not sure about mom moving their potty place.
Here are the supervisors overseeing the project.
Fergie is just inspecting the area making sure it's okay to use! Looks good! Bear isn't convinced yet...
Yay, success!! Now we have a designated area for the pups to use. Now all we need to do is to get Bear to use the area. Hope you like our idea!

I was thinking about this with our new puppies only because we run around in our yard...so that would keep my little one from stepping in it if I miss some on the clean up.

Love this idea! How do you handle cleanups...just got a new puppy and need to figure out a designated spot so he doesn’t overtake my yard.
