"Springifying" My Curtains
I have a small window in my bedroom for a good reason; it faces north. Brrrrrr! They're brown as you can see and not very spring-like. I wanted to make my bedroom brighter so I took out my spring coverlet (finally!) and set forth to brighten up my curtains. I had some older and not-so-older handkerchiefs/napkins that were given to me so using used safety pins I added them at the tops. The handkerchiefs give just enough pop to brighten them up and the best part ....no sewing needed!!
I had some lacy trim that I had taken off a collar of a sweater I bought from the local thrift store and used those as tie backs. Oops I did sew on a button since the trim already had holes.
For some reason they remind me of chocolate cake and frosting!

how creative and looks so ' soft' and pretty, ...yes, it does look like cake with icing !!

Thanks @Shelby @ The Weathered Barn Studio I've seen this done as kitchen curtains so decided to try it in my bedroom and am happy with the look :)
