Cottage Style Coffee Table Makeover

In August I noticed a weekday yard sale which is unusual in my area. A lady was moving to Georgia and couldn't take her things with her. Lucky for me, one item that she no longer needed was a cottage style coffee table.
After sanding this piece, I painted it a creamy white and waxed it with liquid wax from The Plaster Paint Company. I like liquid wax because it doesn't require buffing.
This coffee table had a serious case of 90's blah when I purchased it. It also had a strong smoke smell but leaving it outside in the August heat took care of that!
I like to accessorize my pieces with family antiques when I photograph them. The crock is very old and is a family piece. I wish I knew its history. The brown bottle is an old Clorox bottle.
I like this table so much better post-makeover!
