Old Coffee Table Made New Again...again

I bought this coffee table many years ago at goodwill for $5. It was new in the box but had a leg that was attached wrong. I used it for a few years and it got scratches etc so I painted it with a chalkboard top so the kids could draw on it. And it was great fo a few years...it got ugly again so I recently updated again. I love it again!
I started by giving the table a good scrub down to remove any oils & dirt...and some things my kids nicely hid. ..ewe. I gave it a little sanding down to smooth out any damaged areas as well.
I next painted the entire table with a light grey chalky paint....okay so I got this paint on clearance at JoAnns...it was a bit thick and hard to work with ...so just use caution i usually use Americana Decor, Folk Art or ArtMinds chalky paints they all work great.
But it did the job. I then sanded down the top of the table to prep it for paper ..oh yes paper.
I then used matte Furniture Mod Podge, a paint brush, a brayer & squeegee to put on DCWVs Project Paper Chrysanthemum to the table. Once on I used sand paper to distress a few areas then Sealed the table top with the same Mod Podge.
And now I love my table again!
