Who's over boring brown furniture? Who loves color? And who needs a change?

Let me show you an easy, and colorful flip you can do to spice up a space!

Take this guy as an example:
Got dropped off at the local thrift store. We've all seen pieces like this right? Worn and tired. Late 80's-90's stuff. Nothing special. But wood & great bones!
First up put on some Junk Monkey Paint. Whatever color floats your boat! For me, that usually involves a fun color! Teals and reds are a great base color for this project!
No need to prime or sand or strip. Need next, lay down a stencil on top of your painted piece. Got this one on clearance at Hobby Lobby for less than $5! Score!!!!
These are my fav brushes too! Just chip cheap brushes! They leave a great distressed look behind! Pick them up at your local hardware stores! I use them over and over again!
I like to paint the first stencil in black. It's going to create some shadow. Color used is Black Velvet. Seriously usinf black for this steps really makes the table look 3-D!
Dry and then move your stencil. Just shift it a little. Go over the same stencil pattern again with a metallic!
Ready to see how it all pulls together? Here ya go!

Like it?
Boho...a little moroccan style...just plain fun and colorful!

What color would you paint yours???????? Who's gonna try this???
