Thrift Store Coffee Table Makeover

You will not believe what this coffee table looked like when I picked it up from the thrift store- and how easy and quick it was to transform it!
So, here she is in all her shining glory! She was a dirty brown with scratches all over. But she had potential... I loved the shape. The shape of a hexagon just goes so well with other decor pieces in my living room (I have another small side table that's also a hexagon!)
I started out by simply removing all the doors and hardware and sanding it down well by hand.
Then I did a combination of semi-gloss white paint and weathered gray wood stain to achieve the look in the "After" picture!

Jeanette S on Nov 08, 2015Love the redo. I have this exact table I inherited from hub's mom. I LOVE the Formica top on mine allows the guys to join me in the formal living room. I got rid of my antique tables that were not "guy proof!" LOL
