log bed lighting

This was our answer to a night light...these are the old LED Christmas lights that I installed under the Aspen log bed. This is a timed exposure so the light is more subtle than it appears in this pic. The steps along the side of the bed have been replaced with an equally lit ramp...the ramp allows the 13 year old wiener dog to visit in the bed without having to be "picked" up. Her little dog legs are only about 1 1/2" long and cannot make the 2 foot jump onto the bed.
Advice:
being LED's these light use just a few watts so we leave them on all of the time. For middle of the night trips to the bath or fridge...the lighting is just right.
