I kept all my plastic utensils in a basket. The guys were always grabbing a spoon when they needed a fork. So I decided I needed holders for my plastic utensiles.
I washed with soap and water and cleaned the 3 mason jars with rubbing alcohol.
I sprayed the mason jars with a white primer paint. I let dry and then sprayed again.
I gathered up my next supplies. A old bucket cleaned out with water, red and blue spray paint, a wood stick, card board and disposal gloves.
I sprayed the water with the spray paint. Going back and forth with the blue and red spray paint.
I put the gloves on, with the lid on the mason jar I dipped the jar slowly into the water. I took the stick and moved the paint out of the way and then pulled the jar out of the water.
I took the card board and removed the paint. I sprayed, dipped and cleaned the water 2 more times for my 3 mason jars.
I places my wet jars upside down to let dry. Once they dried I sprayed the jars with a clear coat and let dry again.
Jars, 2 different colors of spray paint, primer, clear coat, paint pin, rubbing alcohol, disposal, gloves, bucket, water, a wood stick and card board. Remember when placing the jar in the water move slowly and move the paint away before you move the jar out of the water. I believe it is called hydro dipping. There are many videos on the web. It cost me about $20.00 in supplies, but I had all kinds of stuff left over to use for another project. Most of the time used for this project was waiting for the paint to dry....
Then I took a paint marker and wrote forks, spoons and knifes on the jars. I removed the seal part of the lid and placed the lid rim back on.( not sure I am calling those parts of the mason jar lid by the right names) now my project is finished.
