Old Wooden Crate Coffee Station

I have a really SMALL kitchen so we're always struggling to find a place for everything. We make coffee and tea everyday so our coffee maker and supplies need to be kept within easy reach.

I love repurposing and I know many of my readers like a vintage look, too, so I decided to create a coffee station out of old crates. It gives my kitchen a little modern farmhouse style feel.

I started with this old wine crate. It made a great base because it’s so level and sturdy.
I brushed on some watered down walnut stain to give it an aged look. Then I wiped it off with an old rag.

I sat this smaller CD crate on top of the wine crate to make another shelf.
Here's what the whole coffee station looks like next to our chalkboard door.
We even have room to store our electric teapot in that bottom crate! That's coming in another post I'm sharing about creating a more tea-centric station! lol... Didn't want to leave all you tea-lovers out!

I found almost everything in this coffee station at the thrift store or a local discount store!
Thanks for reading about my project. I'd love to hear your ideas about coffee stations in SMALL kitchens! Leave them in the comments... it may take me a while but I'll read and try to answer them all.
