Recycled Pants Hangers Into Chip Clip “Jersey Girl Knows Best”

Do you have a bag of chips and can’t find a clip to keep it closed? Well, don’t throw away those store child hangers or pants hangers! You can turn them into chip clips that are way stronger than the ones you buy in the store! It’s the easiest hack around. Ready?! Let’s do this!

These are toddler hangers, but you could use any plastic store hanger for pants. I am sure most of you have them in your closet ready to be recycled!

I used a pair of diagonal cutting pliers to cut these clips off the clothing hangers. It was super easy and I love that I am recycling them ♻️

Here are the chip clips! I trimmed them a little with the diagonal cutting pliers to make the cut side a bit more smooth.

Since these clips are used for keeping pants on a clothing rack, they are mighty strong for chips! I hope you enjoyed this project and I hope you make lots of chip clips in the future! Enjoy them! See you all next time in my next project!
