Boho Rope Basket

I love a good trash to boho treasure how about you?? Here's an easy way to upcycle some aluminum cans using Dollar Tree supplies, which makes this a VERY affordable DIY!

Start at the bottom of your can and apply a line of hot glue to attach the rope.

Continue wrapping and gluing all the way around the can until you reach the top. I used exactly 2 bundles of Dollar Tree rope to cover a larger 28oz can.

Pick out yarn in your favorite color and create some tassels. You will need 4 to 6 of them depending on the size of your can and how many you want spaced around the top.

Take your yarn and loosely wrap some around the top of your can. Use the hot glue to secure your yarn in place.

Finally, take your tassels and glue the "head" part of them to the yarn you wrapped around the top.

There are so many uses for these cute baskets! I'm currently using mine as a pen holder for my desk, but these would also work great in a kitchen or bathroom for counter storage!
