I make bamboo lady bug houses, to hang in the garden. Lady bugs eat bugs that eat your plants. So keep them happy and they'll help you out!
large piece of bamboo cut 8 to 10 inches long
You need a saw a drill and little drill bit, 4 raisins and some wire or string to hang the house. After you cut your bamboo, use a little drill bit on you drill .Put a hole in the top edge of the bamboo on each end, about a half an inch in.
I used a piece of weed eater line to hang this one. I put the line in the holes at the top ,then pulled it out and back in on it self in the hole .It looks like a loop .You can see it a little on the top right.
My granddaughter added lady bug stickers to the out side of the house. This gives lady bugs a place to sleep at night or bad weather . just add raisins at each end of the tube Lady bugs like raisins
