I am the queen of updating or renewing objects found in my yard. So I decided it was time to update these old terracotta pots and saucers to make supporting feet for a large planter. The planter was sitting directly on a paver and I decided to lift it up higher so the water could drain better out of the bottom. And I wanted to add just a pop of color, with my favorite shade of green.
Out with the old and on with new colors and a clean up.
My favorite shade of green. Spray painted on top of my garbage container it seemed to be the perfect height. I let them dry in the sun.
I used gorilla glue to glue the 2 pieces together.
After the ants scurried away, I brushed off as much debris as possible.
I played with position by putting the planter on top again and again until it didn't rock. Didn't want to glue the 3 pieces together because it would be too much of a hassle when it's time to update again.
Set the pot in place on its new feet.
Now, I just need to decide what to plant for the Spring.
