How to Elevate Your Landscaping With Easy In-Ground Solar Lights

Once summer comes we spend countless hours outside.

At this house there was no lighting in the backyard or electric outlets, so we have had to get creative and use solar energy to power outdoor lighting.

These easy in-ground solar lights are perfect for illuminating bushes, landscaping, or providing extra light around hardscaping.

I highly recommend these solar lights. Use this DIY tutorial to add these easy in-ground solar lights to your landscaping this summer!

You Will Need:

  • 1 pack of solar deck lights
  • Measuring Tape

#1. Slide together the stakes for each light.

There are two stakes for each light. These enable the lights to be staked into the ground. These can also be left off for the lights to be attached to a flat surface.

#2. Attach the stakes onto each light.

There are 8 lights that come in this pack.

#3. Measure out the length of the patio and space the lights accordingly.

#4. Push the lights into the ground.

Remove the plastic film over the solar panel.

Here they are. With a mower on a higher setting it goes right over the lights.

After

Here the lights are at night.

I love our cozy outdoor space!
