We re-worked an old pond for the kids at a local school here in Chicago-land. It is now a place where they can interact and see new things daily.The water-garden will evolve and change with the seasons... The pond supplies and stone were donated and our labor charge discounted for the school
This is what they had for years.. A dysfunctional pond with lack of filtration. Basically an eyesore and mosquito breeding ground
We ripped out the old and placed a waterfall and skimmer to start the rebuilding process
Re-digging and shaping the pond. Adding a 25' stream
The kids watched and asked questions all day
The pond is lined and we are rocking
The pond is now filling..
The kids are exploring the stream
