Give Your White Stove a Touch of Vintage

by Debbie Bruns
(IC: homeowner)
I got tired of the all white stove.
We will be redoing our kitchen in a farmhouse vintage theme.
Since my stove is only 6 years old, I figured I could make it blend and look a little more vintage.
So I painted my knobs, the oven handle and the drawer. And the drawers these days don't have handles so I added one.
I love the look.
Now I just need to paint the little country sign a cherry red.
This is the paint I used. Its Rust-Oleum 2x and the color is Seaside. Sorry for not including it in my earlier post. Forgive me. =)
Enjoyed the project?

So cute I painted mine a dark stainless to match the new fridge! I used Rustoleum enamel and brushed it on! Painted the handles copper to match all my copper!

Did you prep any of the parts you painted so that the paint adhered? If so, what/how did you prep?! Thanks!
Did you prep the parts you painted so the paint would adhere better? If so, how/what did you use? Thanks!
I love it! I love the color and the vintage look. I wonder if I could do this for my kitchen aid stand mixer? It's old but a heavy duty model which works great, but the paint is chipping.
