New "Old" Pantry Door
by

I wanted to replace our bi-fold pantry door with something more "country" looking since our house is over 100 years old.
This is the bi-fold door that was on the pantry in our kitchen.
I found this old screen door that was minus the screen at an antique mall for $20.00
My husband bought a piece of plexiglass, and I had the stencil letters. He put the letters on, sprayed the front with frosted glass spray paint and put it in the top part of the screen door. After he painted it he removed the stencil which left the word pantry clear.
He then put wood in the bottom part to make it sturdier.
We painted it and left the original handle on it. It's a little shabby chic looking but I wanted to keep the "old" feel of it.
Enjoyed the project?
