Back to School Teacher Gift

It's that time of year again!! Unfortunately summer is just about over and school bells are ringing. Every year, I do a back to school gift for Hunter's teacher. I know teachers need a lot of school supplies and have a lot of out of pocket expenses for these supplies. I like to show our appreciation by sending in these supplies in a fun container like a basket or a tote.
I built this tote from plans Jaime of That's My Letter. She taught a workshop on this project at the Haven conference. When we built the tote I knew it would be perfect for a teacher gift.
I painted the tote, then added green ball jars filled with markers and pencils.
This is a multi-purpose project that could be used for a gift, storage or the size could be altered.
I'm participating in the Randolph's Street Market Midwest Bloggers Round Up August 28 & 29 where I will be doing this project for my DIY demo. If you're a blogger, thinking of starting a blog, or just a fan of home decor DIY blogs make sure you register for this fun even ASAP.
