Felt Succulent Grapevine Wreath
I repurposed my Summer grapevine wreath into Fall by adding faux succulents made of felt. I cut them with my Cricut machine, but you could easily hand cut the pieces as well or purchase faux florals to use on the wreath.
Cricut MediumGrip Mat or Fabric Mat
Cricut Felt (I used the Sky Sampler pack)
Hot glue gun and glue stick
Grapevine wreath
Use Cricut DesignSpace to create and cut the felt flower pieces. You could also hand cut them or use faux florals.
Stack the pieces from largest on the bottom to the smallest on the top, securing each layer with a dollop of hot glue, rotating the points between each layer.
This is what the finished succulent looks like.
Put a dab of hot glue on each of the edges of the petal, slightly overlapping them, giving the flower a 3-dimensional quality. Glue two of the flowers together, offsetting the petals. The middle was made by rolling up the straight piece of felt and securing with hot glue. I layered a few of the leaves together and attached to the back of the flower using hot glue.
This is what the finished flower should look like. You can vary the leaves on the back for a different look.
Use hot glue to secure the felt flowers to the grapevine wreath. Once dry, hang it up!
