3 Tips Applying Transfers
Hi, I'm Liz from the DIY blog Simple Decorating Tips and the DIY shop Frame and Frills.
Here is a video post with 3 tips applying transfers that you won’t want to miss!
These 3 tips are my absolutes when using transfers on a piece to ensure they go on beautifully.
The video explains the process how to apply transfers.
Here are a few pics of the before during and after process to redo this secretary desk:
The products I used are Fusion Mineral Paint, Midnight Blue and French Eggshell with a few others, like Fusion Metallic and a little bit of Fusion Chocolate color added to water to create a wash to age the inside of the hutch.
Painting the interior was a bit tedious. LOL
After the paint was totally dry, I light sanded to distress, then added the transfers.
To protect the transfers, I used Fusion Tough Coat in matte.
All the products, transfers, paint, top coat and tools, I used in this video post are available in my shop, Frame and Frills. Shop online or in person, I ship USA nationwide M-F.
