I updated this Dollar Tree styrofoam pumpkin and I love the simple look of it!

This project was not time consuming at all. When I get an idea I always test it out on a small scale and once I finished this I had wished Id done it on a larger pumpkin to make more of an impact on my entry table.

This is the ribbon I ordered from Amazon. Search "burlap leaf ribbon" and a lot of choices come up. I had ordered it over a year ago for a different project I was doing at the time.

The pumpkin was bright orange so I painted the pumpkin tan first to account for any gaps in the ribbon. I tried to choose a paint color as close to the twine as possible. I really glopped the paint on there so that the glue would have more to grab onto than the styrofoam

I started wrapping from the bottom up.

I did have one small gap so I cut a few leaves and glued them right over top of it

This is the one gap I had

Then I replaced the stem with a wood tree trunk

That was it!
