Go Bold: Fearless Paint Choice

This project was done alongside the fabulous ladies participating in the challenge. This month's theme was Inspired By. There are some great projects in the bunch!
A friend called to tell me a double rocker was on her neighbor's curb. She wondered if I wanted it? Well, yes. Of course I do! Always!
It was in rough shape. The seat part was rotted out, it was dull, faded and covered in mildew.
I sanded the rough spots and the new wood, to give it softer edges. Then painted multiple coats. I wanted good heavy coverage because I'm not planning on distressing the paint at all. I love it just how it is.
I decided to go bold. I never really do. I lean toward the neutrals and plain old, same old. By my adventurous spirit prevailed and I chose Playful Front Door paint by I figured if it doesn't fade on an outside door it would work for a rocker too!
What color are you going to try next? Follow along on other adventures at my blog Hunt & Host, I would love to have you over! You'll find a good dose of DIY with a side of Christian Inspiration! Don't forget to follow us along here on Hometalk too!

Love the color and might I add that your outdoor space is magazine worthy?!
