Inspired by Restoration Hardware, we built this table for our beach house for under $100 #HandmadeFurniture
A trip to the Restoration Hardware outlet inspired us to build a table for under $100 for our beach house and get the look that we wanted with a painted base and a driftwood style top.
We purchased four legs and 2 x 8 Southern Pine planks and figured out how large to build it to seat 8 people by laying placemats across the top.
You'll find a lot better instructions and what you'll need to build and finish the table over on my blog at shabbyfufublog.
Put together and waiting for a custom driftwood rustic farmhouse finish.
I painted the table with milk paint as the first step and then gave it some love with stains and wax.
The final finish that has held up well and really does resemble driftwood. See lots of visuals over on the blog. Handmade is always better and especially when you can save and do it yourself!
