A Fun Vintage Table & Chair Makeover By Somewhat Quirky Design

I initially had other plans for this vintage children's table and chairs. But when my grandson was born this year I decided that it would be adorable all fixed up. I decided to "paint it pretty" for the October Fab Furniture Flipping Contest.
First I removed the padded top and seat covers. Then I used a wire brush to remove lots of years of dirt and rust.
All the metal was covered with 2 coats of filling primer and two coats of orange spray paint.
The top and chair pads were covered in laminated fabric that I found at the Country Living Fair in Columbus, OH.
The whole thing is so dang cute!
And the baby is ALMOST ready to use it!
There is a bit more info on the blog and some more pictures of my beautiful grandson. I'm sure you will want to see those. http://www.somewhatquirkydesign.com/2015/10/hello-im-glad-youre-here-last-time-i.html

This is so darn cute. I have this exact set in my garage. It was my set, then my son's, and in a year or two it will be given to my first granddaughter!
