Easy Thanksgiving Centerpiece

Between now and Christmas, life seems to get a little chaotic — decorating your home, family get togethers, and holiday parties can make your head spin.
Last year, I bit off a bit more than I could chew, and I didn’t feel that I had any time to really enjoy the holidays because I was so busy. I vowed this year I wouldn’t sign-on for so much and do whatever I could to make things easier.
This year we are hosting Thanksgiving here, and I decided to get as much finished ahead of time as possible. Instead of some elaborate centerpiece that I spend a week working on, I decided to keep it simple.
Where I live, when you are looking for pumpkins you usually find one color: Orange.
If you try really hard, you might get lucky and find a white one.
This year, I was super excited when I went to Wal-Mart and found all kinds of colors!

I picked-up this great blue/grey colored one and two little peach colored ones. I put all three in my dough bowl, and they looked good … but it was a little bare.
I then found some cream colored, faux hydrangeas at Michael’s, and I cut one up and stuck them in where it was a little naked.
