I was at our local Habitat Restore and found 2 solid lazy Susan pieces from a cabinet. Paid a buck for each. I decided to try my hand at painting a Poinsettia for a Christmas.
First I sanded it down to the bare wood and wiped it off to let dry.
I then watered down 50/50 my Unicorn SPiT Dragons Belly and let dry.
As you can see the green was very dry and chalky looking when I painted my flower. I used a piece of chalk to free hand draw the flower. I then to my Unicorn SPiT White Ning and traced my chalk line. I wrapped my finger in a tee shirt and dipped the end in water to move the SPit around and do some shading. The cool thing about Unicorn SPiT is you can reactivate it with water even if it is dry. I was able

To blend some of the dry Dragons Belly out down to bare wood. I went in and highlighted with Old Masters Provincial Gell stain and some oil base copper paint.
Let dry and put a coat of oil based poly over the top. Let dry and

Lightly sanded with 400 grit pape and poly again. You will notice the 50/50 water to SPiT ratio let all of the wood grain come through. Can't wait for Holiday company to she it off.
